Abstract
Objective Serum p53 protein overexpression was detected in coke oven workers to explore the biomarker of early diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods Western blot was used for determing the level of p53.Serum p53 were compared between two groups and some affecting factors of serum p53 were analysed. Results Compared with the control group,p53 levels in the different exposued group increased signifcantly(P<0.05),and the expression of p53 increased gradually in the exposued group with the year of service. The exposed time was the mostly risk factor for the increase of serum p53.Conclusion Coking oven emission(COE)was likely to cause mutation of p53 gene and increasing the incidence of lung cancer.
