Effectiveness analysis on AIDS health education project for RFSs

Objective T o investigate intervention method and effect of A IDS health education among recreation place fe- male servers(RFSs)in Shenzhen in order to explore intervention methods.Methods AIDS-prone group AIDS health education and intervention measures were taken among 456 attendants in the part public places of entertainment in Yantian districts in Shenzhen.Before and after the intervention questionnaire survey was conducted to understand their KAP towards AIDS and analyze the results of the questionnaire and the effectiveness of intervention.Results Respondents interferes with AIDS relevant know ledge,mark of before and after intervention attitude,belief,behavior were soaveragely 11.44,15.64 respectively,difference had statistics intention(t=16.29,P<0.01);The rate of rightness of using a condom were 70.07%,86.57% respectively.The rate of using condons were 42.65%,66.50% respectively(P<0.01).But attitude to AIDS patient was forward direction changed from 25.07% to 9.61%;AIDS pointing out respondents was aware o f and high dangerous behavior impro vementhad obvious effect.Conclusion It is urgent to implementhealth education and behavior intervention among RFSs.AIDS health educatio n,and intervent ion are effective and feasible.
