Survey on KAB for tuberculosis control in residents of Hubei province

Objective To understand the know ledge of the mass for tuber culosis contr ol,and to perfect tuberculosis control strategy of heatlth promotinon.Methods Multilevel stratified random sampling were used,and face to face invesitgation was also used by the investigators in the house of invevstig atees.Results In the whole investigatees,there were 4.81% didn't hear the diseaes of tuber culosis,86.89% knew one kind of tuber cuosis symproms,95.03% thought that the tuberculosis can infect,but only 56.44% knew whoever suffer ed from the disease should go to the professional organization for seeking medical advice,and most of investig atees(57.76%)meaned that they will keep distance with the patient.The main path that they obtain the knowledge for tuber culosis control was from the people and televsion.Conclusion The knowledge rate of tuber culosis control should be improved in the province,and commonweal advertisement of television should be strenghtened.
