Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of HIF-1α in the brain of rats after HPM exposure.Methods 60 Wistar rats were sacrificed after the exposure of 0,30 and 100 mW/cm2 HPM at 6h,1d,3d and 7d to obtain the brains.HE stain was used to investigate the morphous of blood capillary;Immunohistochemistry,in situ hybridization and quantitative analysis methods were used to investigate the HIF-1α protein and mRNA expression.Results The morphous of capillary in sham exposure groups were regular and no widen gap were found;more widen gaps were found in 30 and 100 mW/cm2 exposure group.The expression of HIF-1α protein was weakly positive in sham groups,which increased in 30 and 100 mW/cm2 groups during 6 h to 1 d,and then decreased.Conclusion The increased expression of HIF21αparticipate in the injury and reparative process in the brain.
