Relationship between mental health and family environment factors of students from model high school

  • ObjectiveUnderstanding the relationship between family environment and mental health of students in model high school,offer ing the basis for promoting their level of mental health in point.Methods385 students from model high school were surveyed by using SCL-90 and FES-CV,and relevant and regression analyses were car ried out.ResultsComparing with China's norm,scores in most sub-scales were relative low in FES-CV;every factor scores were hig her than China's norm in SCL-90,scores in most sub-scales in FES-CV of the students in different mental health level had significant differences;There were significant correlations between FES-CV factors and most SCL-90 factors;family's intimate degree,recreation,culture sense of organization,contradiction,independence.These six factors entered SCL-90 total points and equations of regression of some symptom factors.ConclusionFamily environment and their mental health of students from model high school are closely related,and have certain prediction function on their levels of mental health.
