Evaluation on effect of chrysanthemum compound drink on decreasing lead content

  • ObjectiveTo realize comprehensively effect of chrysanthemum compound drink on decreasing lead content.MethodsMake toxic animal models throught experiments of load-increasing lead to mice and measure their blood lead, bone lead and vitamin C;60 mice selected whose blood lead was over 2.40μmol/L were randomly divided into experiment group and control group, measure their blood lead and urine lead before and after intake of chrysanthemum compound drink.ResultsLevels of blood lead and bone lead in intervention group were lower than those in control group, which were both significant different(P<0.05);Vitamin Ccontents were also obviously raised. The rate of eliminating blood lead and bone lead were 36.7% and 33.4%.After the mice fed chrysanthemum compound drink for 15 days, the blood leads were lower obviously than those before eating. The mean of urine leads was two times than before. These were all significant different(P<0.01).After 30 days, the decr asing of blood lead was more obvious and urine blood were declined, but they were signifcant different than that before test(P<0.05).Rates of eliminating blood lead 15 days and 30 days were 42% and 59%.ConclusionThe effect of chrysanthemum compound drink on decreasing lead content is good.
