Abstract
ObjectiveTo explor the relationship of different BMI,high blood glucose, high blood lipid and hyper tension among Kazakh in Xinjiang.MethodsAdopting stratified and cluster samplings, carring on measures of hypertension, body mass index(BMI),serum cholesterol, trigly ceride and blood glucose in Kazakh residents of Shawan region over 18 years old.ResultsRates of high blood glucose for hypertension group and control group are 16%,6.3% (χ2=24.35,P=0.000)respectively,rates of high blood cholesterols are 18.7%,9.9% (χ2=15.63,P=0.000),rates of high tr igly cerides are 20.9%, 15.1% (χ2=5.28,P=0.02),the rate low density lipoprotein cholesterols are 15.4%,7.2% (χ2=16.70,P=0.000)and the rate of high density lipoprotein cholesterols are 18.6%,6.2% (χ2=25.41,P=0.000).With the increasing of BMI,the blood glucose, the blood cholesterol, the triglyceride, the low density lipoprotein cholesterol levels ascend, the high density lipoprotein cholesterol level reduces, the rate of abnormalities also elevate in hypertension and control groups(P<0.05).ConclusionThere are close relationships between hy pertension, hyper lipidemia and high blood glucose in different BMI groups among Kazakh population.
