Study on state of township hospitals in Laoshan district of Qingdao city

Objective To understand health resources and its utilization in tow nship hospitals of Laoshan district in Qingdao city.Methods Four township hospitals in Laoshan district were investigated by questionnaires.Data were analyzed with SPSS12.0.Results During 2003~2005,the value of medical equipments increased from 2410000 to 320000;An nual outpatient frequency increased from 68.078 to 70.830;Annual inpatient frequency increased from 944 to 1212;Total in come,expenditure and variety of drugs all increased every year.Conclusion Medical equipments,health manpower and amount of health service increased.However level of expertise of medical personnel should be improved and investment shoud be raised in the near future.
