Effect of IL-8 on pathogenesis of endometriosis

Objective To explore the expression of inter leukin-8(IL-8)and its effect on pathog enesis of endometriosis.Methods the patients were divided into different groups on base of R-AFS standard,and the levels of IL-8 in peritoneal fluid and IL-8 mRNA in endomembrane tissue were detected by ELISA,real-time-PCR,respectively.The level of IL-8 mRNA was repr esented by log cDNA/lgGA PDH.Results the levels of IL-8 in peritoneal fluid and end omembrane tissue were(23.37±8.23)pg/ml,(12.32±4.27)pg/ml,respectiv ely(P<0.05).However,the ex pr ession of IL-8 mRNA in estrin phase of endomembrane was 1.3011±0.2689,1.1239±0.2738(log cDNA/log GAPDH).It was similar in two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion IL-8,a kind of autocrine growth factor and positive feedback factor,can promote the growth of stroma cells and play a key role in pathogenesis of endometriosis.
