Relationship between prostatic carcinoma label matter and diet formation

  • Objective To inquire intor elationship of prostatic specific antigen(PSA),prostatic acid phosphatase(PAP) and diet, change of PSA,PAP,T as well as LH content and diet. Methods The subjects consisted of 632 males at age of 40 or more.Serum PSA content was examined by ELI SA,PAP,T as well as LH content was detected by radioimmunoassay. The information about diet was collected by interviewand questionnaire. Results In meat group and vegetarian group the serum PSA content was(4.54±0.36 and 3.00±0.38)ng/ml separately.PAP content was(2.046±0.66 and 1.798±0.59)ng/ml respectively.T content was(3.578±3.62 and 4.769±3.670)ng/ml partly.LH content was(9.414±6.11 and 8.212±6.07)ng/ml separately.PSA content increased along with the age.T ontent descended along with the age.L H content was the highest in 40~49 age group. Conclusion Diet plays an important role in prostatic carcinoma and particularly redmeats is one of risk factors for prostatic carcinoma.
