Effect of chronic lead exposure on expression of PKC-γ in mice hippocampus

  • ObjectiveTo observe the effect of chronic lead contamination on protein expression of PKC-C in the hippocampus of mice.MethodsChronic acetic lead contamination was applied to mice(2.4,4.8,9.6 mmol/L),and young mice were killed at 14,21,35,48 d respectively.Western blotting was used to observe the protein expression levels of PKC-C in hippocampus of mice.ResultsCompared with the control group,PKC-Cprotein expression in the hippocampus of mice with chronic lead exposure was significantly down trended(P<0.05).ConclusionChronic lead exposure can disturb the normal expression of PKC-C protein in mice.
