Hostolity and its influence factor in farmers losing farmland in Jiangsu province

Objective To investigatemental health status of farmers losing farmland because of urbanization,especially on their hostility.Methods Two communities of Xuzhou city were randomly selected by stratified cluster sampling method.The farmers were investigated by the trained investigors with questionnaire.Results The total number of the valid samples was 1 070.471 participants showed psychological abnormality;361 were with abnormal hostile elements.Young or middle-age,poor health status,without the help of family members,dissatisfied with the government subsidy policy were major risk factors for mental health problems among the subjects.Conclusion In order to keep a stable and harm onious pace of the socitey,the government should make effort to set up social security system,foundational medical system and social support system.
