Influential factors on cure rate of pulmonary tuberculosis and countermeasure

ObjectiveTo explore the influential factors for the curemte of puhonary tuberculosis (TB)and to constitutefeasible intervention measures.MethodsThe stratifying and clustering random sampling technique was applied.The medication history and the factors involved in the treahnent and management of the smear positive TB cases were investigated.The data were analyzed with the statistical model of single and multiple factors non-conditional Logistic regression.ResultsThe curemte of TB was 83.2% for all patients, 86.02% for patients with initial treatment and 64.29% for patients with re-treatment implement of sputum examination after treatment, drug manufacturer, different counties or districts, continuity ofmedicationproviding, and normalizing medication were the main factors influencing the curerate of TB.ConclusionTo intervene the main factors influencing the curerate of TB may increase the curerate of puhonary tuberculosis.
