Evaluation of control and preventive endeavor of human avian influenza in residents of epidemic area

ObjectiveTo evaluate the control and preventive endeavor of human avian flu in residents of epidemic area one year after the epidemic.MethodsQuestionnaire survey was conducted in 396 residents older than 14 years old radom selected in epidemic areas.ResultsHigh satisfaction rates(89.2%,77.2%)on the effect of post epldemic control and current precautionary measures were found in the participants.But 43.7% of the residents still worried about the recurrence of human avian flu in the future.Residents of the non-epidemic area had a higher level of anxiety than residents in epidemic areas.ConclusionThe epidemic control and preventative measures of human arian influenza was effective.
