Abstract
Objective To investigate the association between the effort reward imbalance(ERI)and depressive symptom among bus drivers.Methods The ERI at work was conceptualized in terms of the Chinese version of Center for Epidmiilogic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D).Across sectional survery was conducted in 307 bus driversin Zhejiang,Univariate analysis and multiva riate logistic regression analysis were applied to discover factor a ssociated with depressive symptom.Results The prevalence rate of depressive symptoms among the bus drivers was 67.10%(95%CI:61.85%-72 35%).The depre ssive symptoms was a sspciated with ERI(OR=5.978,95%CI:3.258-10.969),over commitment (OR=2.914,95%CI:0.060-0.904),enjoying travel(OR=0.402,95%CI:0.182-0.891),gender(OR=2.389,95% CI:1.190-4.797),and enjoying ball sport(OR=0.233,95%CI:0.060-0.904).Conclusion The finding suggests that ERI has a negative impact on the bus-drivers'depressive symptom.
