Investigation on quality of life and correlation factors in patients with CABG

Objective To compare the quality of life(QOL)between patients with off-pumpcoronary artery bypass grafting(OPCAB)and with conventional coronany artery by pass grafting(CCABG)and to find out the influnce factors of QOL.Methods The QOL of patients with OPCAB G or CCABG were invested with the Euro quality of life-5-dimension questionnaire,and the QOL of patients with different operations were compared.Results The ratio of no-limitation in mobility,self-care,usual activities,pain,and anxiety/distress were 82.0%,93.9%,94.7%,80.7% and 78.9%,respectively amont the patients with coronary artery by pass grafting(CAB G).There was no-difference in QOL between the OPCABG g roup and CCAB G group.The main factors which affected the quality of life were grafts lesions and cardiac arrhythmia.Conclusion Grafts lesion and cardiac arrhy thmia in patients after CABG are the main factors affecting QOL.
