Abstract
ObjectiveTo evaluate the status and the influencing factors of mental health in Zhuang ethnic peasants in Guangxi.MethodsSymptom Check list-90(SCL-90)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)were applied to 921 Zhuang peasants selected with stratified cluster sampling.All data were dealt with software SPSS 1310.ResultsThere were significant differences in SCL-90 scores between groups with different sex,age,marriage status,economic level, religious belief, chronic disease history,time of falling a sleep,objective support, and subjective support.The scores of SCL-90 in Zhuang peasants were significantly higher than that of norms we Chinese and the norms of adults in three provinces including Hebei, Zhejiang and Guangxi.The no-condition logistic multiple factor regression analysis showed that sex,religious belief,chronic disease,time of falling a sleep,and subjective support entered regression model.ConclusionSex,religious belie,fchronic disease,time of falling a sleep,and subjective support are influencing factors of the mental health of Zhuang peasants in Guangxi.
