Disinfection effect of matrine extraction

ObjectiveTo research disinfection effect of matrine extraction.MethodsThe matrin extraction was made with acetone hot back flow method.Then the extraction was mixed with emulsifier TX-10 for disinfection test.The suspension quantitative germicidal test, air scene disinfection,and object surface disinfection tests were carried out to evaluated is infection effect of the extraction.ResultsThe disinfection rate was above 99.9% when the Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans were exposed to low concentration of the extraction(40g/L)for 30 minutes.The air scene disinfection test showed a disinfectio n ra te of 93.10%-95.06% for na tura l bacter ium in the a ir at ex trac tion concentra tion of 15 g/L for 60 m inutes.Ob ject surface disinfection test showed a disinfection rate of 99.9%-95.06% for Esche richia coli and Staphy lococcus at the extraction concentration of 30 g/L for 30 minutes.ConclusionMatrine extraction has a good disinfection effect to bacterium vegetative formand natural bacterium in the air and on object surface.
