Abstract
ObjectiveTo understand the status of job burnout at and its influencing factors among police serving in labor reformatory.MethodsGeneral Condition Inventory,Maslach Burnout Inventory,Cartel Sixteen Personality Factor Test,State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Beck Depression Inventory were used to evaluate the mental health status of 217 police with official serving in labor reformatory.ResultsThe scores of male police in depersonalization dimension were higher than that of female police(P<0.01).The scores of leader and ordinary police in emotional exhaustion,depersonalization were higher than that of police in authority personnel departments(P<0.05).The police with more than 31 years work experience had the lowest score in emotional exhaustion dimension(P<0.05).The police with more than 21 years work experience had the lowest score in reduced personal accomplishment dimension(P<0.05).The influencing factors of job burnout among the police were anxiety,depression,social support,job satisfaction,work experience,easygoing and skepticism.ConclusionAppropriate intervention measures should be taken to influencing factors of job burnout among the police working in labor reformatory.
