Abstract
ObjectiveTo study the effect of compound Liuyueqing(CLYQ)on serological indexes in hepatic fibrosis rats.MethodsHepatic fibrosis model of Sprague-Dawley rats were induced by CCl4.The serum superoxide dismutase (SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),hydroxyproline(Hyp),hyaluronic acid(HA),and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1)were detected with enzyme linked immunoabsorbent assay(ELISA).ResultsCompared with the model control group, the activity of SOD in the serum was increased significantly in all CLYQ groups(P<0.01)and the serological SOD activity was 142.59±9.80 U/mL in the high dose CLYQ group. The contents of MDA,Hyp,HA and TIMP-1 in the serum decreased significantly in all CLYQ groups(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The serological MDA,Hyp,HA and TIMP-1 contents was 2.28±0.43nmol/mL,6.53±0.77μg/mL,111.16±23.89ng/mL,and 2 180.69±278.02 pg/mL in the high dose CLYQ group, respectively, with dose-effect relationship.ConclusionCLYQ can suppress lipid peroxidation and reduce the collagen synthesis.Hence CLYQ has obvious anti-hepatic fibrosis effect.
