Effect of Qindan particles on signal transduction in rats with microwave radiation damage

  • ObjectiveTo research protective effect of Qindan particles on microwave radiation damage.MethodsThe model of microwave radiation in rat was established. The body temperature change of the rats was detected before and after the radiation. After treated with Qindan particles, the serum cyclic adenosine-3'-5'monophosphate(cAMP),protein kinase A(PKA),adreno-cortic-tropic hormone(ACTH),β-endophin(β-EP),and heat shock protein 70(Hsp70)were detected.ResultsThe body temperature of the rats was obviously higher after microwave radiation(P<0.05).One day after the microwave radiation,cAMP,PKA,ACTH,β-EP and Hsp70 of microwave radiation model group were not obviously different from those of the control group(P>0.05 for all). Two weeks after the radiation,cAMP(23.49±8.96 nmol/L),PKA (4.94±1.21 ng/mL),β-EP(12.68±2.21 pg/mL),ACTH(86.39±28.88 pg/mL),and Hsp70(1.73±0.27 ng/mL)of microwave radiation model group were significantly different from those of the control group(P<0.05 for all). The contents of cAMP(10.09±1.03 nmol/L),PKA(2.62±0.55 ng/mL),β-EP(4.61±0.69 pg/mL),and sHsp70(1.63±0.20 ng/mL)of Qindan particles group decreased obviously compared to those of microwave radiation model group(P<0.05 for all).ConclusionQindan particles may protect the rats from microwave radiation damage by regulating serum cAMP, PKA,β-EP,and ACTH.
