Evaluation on satisfaction to healthy city campaign based on multilevel model

Objective To investigate the influence factors of the satisfaction rate for health city building,and to explore the application of multilevel model in the assessment of the satisfaction rate to health city program.Methods Totally 5 852 participants aged over 18 years were selected with stratified-cluster proportional sampling and were enquired about the satisfaction to healthy city campain including improvements of sanitation,air quality,noise,public security,traffic conditions,and residential area management.Multilevel logistic model was employed to explore the influence factors of the satisfaction rate.Results The total satisfaction rate for the improvements of sanitation,air quality,environmental noise,community security,traffic conditions,and urban management was 86.1%,85.7%,70.2%,86.1%,90.1%,and 89.4%,respectively.Satisfaction rates for air quality,noise,public security,traffic conditions and,urban management of urban residents were low er than those of the rural residents.The satisfction rate for traffic conditions in tow nship residents was higher than in urban and rural residents and the satisfaction rate of the urban residents was low er than that of the rural residents.Retired people had low satisfaction rates for sanitation,air quality,and urban management.In the residents,the satisfaction rates for sanitation,traffic conditions and urban management increased with the level of family income and the satisfaction rates for air quality and urban management decreased with education level.Sleeping quality was an independent influence factor for satisfaction rates of all dimensions.The clustering of the satisfacton rate was detected at township/community level by the multilevel model.Conclusion The satisfaction rate for healthy city campaign was generally high except noisey.The multilevel model could be used in the evaluation on influencing factors of satisfaction to healthy city campaign.
