Establishment of indicator system for capacity evaluation of catering industry inspection in Guangdong province

  • ObjectiveTo establish an indicator system for evaluating the capacity of hygiene inspection on catering industry in Guangdong province. MethodsA two-rounds Delphi consultation among 24 selected experts were performed. Hierarchy process theory was used to weight the important coefficients and an assessment model was set up under the comprehensive score method to evaluate the capacity of 20 public hygiene supervisory groups.Split-half reliability and Cronbach's α were used to test the reliability. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) method and correlation analysis were used to test the validity. ResultsA comprehensive model was established,including seven first-class indicators,thirty second-class indicators and sixty third-class indicators.The assessment model was proved to be a good method in differentiating the ability of hygiene inspection capacity for catering industry. ConclusionThe assessment model was considered to be practical and reliable,and could distinguish different classes and evaluate hygiene inspection capacity for catering industry.
