Effects of ambient ozone on human respiratory system

Recently,the feature of air pollution in China has changed from coal burning pollution to complex pollution,with the increasing level of ambient ozone.Effects of ambient ozone on human respiratory system are research focus at present.Ozone exposure can induce injury of human respiratory system through inflammation,oxidative stress,airway hyperresponsiveness and DNA damage.The aim of this review is to summarize the research findings on influences of ozone on human respiratory system.
