Progress in research on prevalence and control of smoking and second hand smoking among women in China:a review

Tobacco hazard among females is related to their physiological and social gender and gender analysis method could be applied to all aspects of the researches on tobacco use and exposure in the females for the implementation of comprehensive tobacco control strategies.From gender perspective,this paper reviews current situation,change trend,harmful results,and relevant factors,as well as the control,of smoking and second hand smoking among women in China.
