Abstract
Epidemiology studies find that fine particles (particulate matter less than 2.5 μm in aerodynamic diameter,PM2.5) is associated with increased incidence and mortality of respiratory, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.A literature review was conducted to investigate the health hazards of PM2.5,particularly its impact on oxidative stress and inflammatory response, therefore to provide evidence for further research.
