Protective effect of VC on damaging embryo midbrain nevrve cells induced by static magnetic

  •   Objective   To observe the protective effect of VC on damaging embryo midbrain nerve cells after expossure to static magnetic.
Methods   In vitro cultured embryo midbrain never cells were added VC respective to does(5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 μmol/L)resume exposed to intensity 60 mT of static magnetic. After 72 h the survival rate, super oxide dismutase(SOD) activity, glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)activity, and the amount of malondialdehyde(MDA)of embryo midbrain never cells were determined.
Results   Survival rate, activity of SOD, and GSH-Px activity of embryo midbrain nerve cells decreased, but MDA concentration of embryo midbrain nerve cells increased after static magnetic effecting. These changes weakened when embryo midbrain nerve cells were exposed to static magnetic after pretreatment with VC.This effect was more significant after pretreatment with VC at the high dose.
Conclusion   Embryo midbrain never cells can be damaged by static magnetic through peroxidation.VC pretreatment can promote the antioxidation and protect embryo midbrain never cells from damages induced by static magnetic.
