Objective To study the elder's, quality of life with chronic disease and their influencing factors, and to provide the reference for preventing chronic disease and improving the elder's, quality of life.
Methods 2 001 elder patients were selected from a hospital in Chongqing and their quality of life were scored by PUL SES questionnaire which was an internationally versatile measuring scale.The indexes were analyzed by the analysis of variance model.
Results There was a parallel relationship between the patients quality of life and their quantity of disease, and the patients who were troubled with more diseases led a worst life.The patients with malignant tumor or cerebrovascular disease led the worst life.Different chronic diseases had various effects on the patient's functions.
Conclusion The elder's quality of life with chronic disease were related to denomination and quantity of disease.We should take effective preventive interv ention for the elderly patients and put it into practice to improve their quality of life.
