Countermeasures for preventing and controlling leptospirosis and the immune level of health population in flooding areas

  •   Objective   Discussing the countermeasures for controlling prevalence of leptospirosis by investigating the influence of flooding toward prevalence factors of leptospirosis.
Methods   The serology investigation was carried out in Xiantao、Yidu、Gongan, where the epidemic situation were more serious.
Results   The infectious sources scattered quickly and the rate of recessive infection was high in the health population because of recent years flood. The antibody titer of Icterohaemorrhagiae、Grippotyphosa was higher in Gongan and Icterohaemorrhagiae、Pomona in Xiantao、Yidu; the rate of positive antibody of Ieterohaemorrhagiae、Pomoma、Grippotyphosa was 27.61%、13.73%、11.68%, lower 20%-54% than 10 years ago respectively in the health population.
Conclusion   The quantified serum antibody titer of IgG、IgM of leptosprisis was tested first among health population, establishing the foundation for determining the immune lever and the efficiency of vaccination and the diagnosing for leptospirosis. To prevent and control epidemic, the integrating measures must be taken.
