Objective To compare the differences of S genome and amino acids sequence f SARS-CoV isolates, analyze possible B cell epitopes of S protein.
Methods S genome sequences of SARS-CoV isolates are cut with Editseq program of Lasergene and then translated into amino acids sequences. To compare the difference of genome and amino acids sequences with Clustal X and then predict B cell epitopes with Protean program.
Results There are not point mutations in 8 genome sequences and 13 amino acids sequences of the S gene of 21 isolates and 78 of B cell epitopes in S protein are predicted.
Conclusion S genome sequences of SARS-CoV are rather conservative and only change a little. There are many possible anti2 genic epitopes in S protein, especially in 14 zones.
