Assessment study on health safety of copper water tube

  •   Objective   To assess the effect of steel water tube on drinking water in China.
      Methods   In the labor atory study, to purchase steel water tube from two factories of China at market.In the applying field water quality study, torandomly select 4 users of steel water tube.
      Results   In the laboratory study, lead, chromium, nickel and arsenic are not all up to the standards.pH, residual chlorine, total alkalinity, total hardness, total dissolved solids, sulphate, chlor ide, nitrate, copper, zinc, cadmium and tin are all up to the standards.In the apply ing field water quality study, nickel are not all up to the standards.pH, residual chlorine, total alkalinity, total hardness, total dissolved solids, sulphate, chloride, nitrate, copper, lead, zinc, chromium, cadmium, tin and arsenic are all up to the standards.
      Conclusion   Excepting nickel, otheritems of steel water tube may meet the sanitary standards for drinking water in China.
