Inhibitory effect of AMH extracted from tricholoma matsutake on mutagenicity of hair coloring cream in vitro

  •   Objective   To find safe and effective bio-antimutagenic resources for the reduction of the mutagenic damage of hair coloring creams.
Methods   The antimutagenic effect of AMH on HCC was studied by the revised Ames test.
Results   Ames test showed that HCC was a both shamshelft and base-pair substitutio n mutagen.AMH could significantly inhibit the mutagenicity of HCC(P < 0.01).The highest inhibitory ratios of the rever tant colonies induced by HCC in strains TA97, TA98 and TA100 were 96.9%, 99.6% and 95.4%.And significant dos-eeffect relationship existed in the antimutag enicity.
Conclusion   AMH could significantly inhibit the mutag enicity of HCC.AMH was an effective antimutagen, and it may be useful in the reduction of mutagenic damage of HCC.
