Analysis of risk factors of excessive internet using among university students

  Objective   To investigate the risk factors of excessive internet using.To provide the advice for the teaching staff of higher education to induct university students appropriatly using internet.

  Methods   In randomily stratified and cluster selected 1 000 students in Central South University, Hunan Normal University, Changsha University.12 faotors surveyed and data which dependent variable is curative effect is analyzed by single and multipe logistic regression.

  Results   Exclusive internet using is related on educational level, administrative level, interest of speciality, anxiety symptom, fear symptom, family relation etc.

  Conclusion   The result analyzed by multiple logistic regression indicated that family relation and anxiety symptom are risk factors of excessive internet using, administrative levels, interest of speciality and study achievementhad protective effect on excessive internet using.
