Expression changes of connexin 32 in induced forestomach neoplasia of mice

  •   Objective   To investigate the dynamic expression changes of connexin 32 in the precancerous lesions and forestomach neoplasia.
Methods   B(a)P was used to induce the forestomach neoplasia of the mice, and immunohistochemistry technique was used to detect the expression regularity of connexin 32 in the procedure of inducing forestomach neoplasia.
Results   The expression of connexin 32 manifested the gradient changes from high level to low level, and finally deletion. That is to say, expression of connexin 32 was highly level in the normal mucosa, obviously decreased or disappeared in the atypical hyperplasia mucosa, and had no expression in the cancer tissue.
Conclusion   The abnormal expression of connexin 32 gene had a close relationship with the stomach cancer. The reductive or deletive expression of connexin 32 caused the disorder of gap junctional intercellular communication in the mucosa, de-differentiation and malignant proliferation of cells, ultimately developed forestomach neoplasia.
