Relation ofApo(a) Phenotype to CoronaryHeartDiseaseand LP(a) Concentration

In order to know the relatpn of A po(a) pheno type to coronaiy heart disease and Lp(a) cnncentratpn,w e used 1:1 Case-control study and ceted 102 pall's Of cases and controts Lp(a) concentrations were measured by ELISA.SDSPAGE followed by anmunoblottingw as used to separate and visualize the pheno type of A po(a).We found that patpntshad a higher frequencry of S1 or S2 pheno type and a low er frequencry of S4 or null(not detected) than、ontrols in Ridit test P<0.01 there was a inverse correlation between A po( a) molecularw eight and the Median of Lp(a) concentration.
