Effect of Terephthalic Action Seran Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme among the Occupational Workers

Serum angiotensin-converting enzyme(SACE)was analyzed in 209 workers exposed to terephthalic and(TPA)and 107 control workers.It was found that SACE activity of exposure workers was significantly higher than that o f the cxmtro is and that dose-dependent relationship to some extent fisted betvveen the SACE activity and the urinary TPA load.The present result suggests that SACE is probably an early sensitive indicator evahxating the slight lungcell injury and/or nephrotoxicity from the workers of exposure TPA.
