Etioog,EPidemiology and Clinieal Feature of Aeute Diarrhea

  • Four bundred and sixty cases of acute diarrhea occurred in Huangshi City during the period from July 1983 to February 1984 were investigated. It was Shown to have a positivity rate of all the Pathogenic organisms of 40.7%, in whichiti, it was 18.9% for Rotavirus, 5.9% for B.dysenterise, 5.4% for EPEC,3.0% for NAG, 2.2% for Campylobacter, 5.9% for Salmonella and 4.1% for mixed infections. The positivity rate in children (52.4%) was higher than that in adults(14.6%). The Rotavirus infection was more common in winter (40.2%) than is summer and autumn (14.6%).
