Etioog,EPidemiology and Clinieal Feature of Aeute Diarrhea

Four bundred and sixty cases of acute diarrhea occurred in Huangshi City during the period from July 1983 to February 1984 were investigated. It was Shown to have a positivity rate of all the Pathogenic organisms of 40.7%, in whichiti, it was 18.9% for Rotavirus, 5.9% for B.dysenterise, 5.4% for EPEC,3.0% for NAG, 2.2% for Campylobacter, 5.9% for Salmonella and 4.1% for mixed infections. The positivity rate in children (52.4%) was higher than that in adults(14.6%). The Rotavirus infection was more common in winter (40.2%) than is summer and autumn (14.6%).
