Investigation on the Distribution of Salmonella in Tujia Nationality Inhabited Area of Western Part of Hubei Province

The distribution of various types of Salmonella in Tujia Nationality inhabited area of western part of Ifubei Province is reported. Three hundred and twenty three strains of Salmonella were isolate.l from Pigs, sewage and human beings. They belonged to 7 groups and 13 serotypes and amon3 these group B was dominant (80.c5%). The prevalent species was Salmonella derby(41.5%).
