Detection of Type Cz Enterotoxin o! Staphylococcus Aureus by ELISA

Using the enzyme-labelled antibody method modified by Wilson.a double-antibody sandwich ELISA technique for detection of Staphylococcal enterotoxin type C₂ was developed.An am ount of 1.25ag/ml Staphylococcal enterotoxin could be detected，the OD value of blank control was less thaw 0.01 and non一specific reactioa appeared at 1:2000.Pretreatment was not required for detection of Staphylococcal enterotoxia is experimeatally contaminated food and food samples from outbreaks of Staphylococcal food poisoniag thus this m ethod was superior to those reported in the tliterature.
