Analysis of Prognostic Factors of Small Cell Lung Carcinomas

To clarify the prognostic fackors and direct clinical treatment. We analysed 54 cases of small cell lung carcinomas from which adequate follow up was available. The results of univarlate analysis for 12 factors showed that clinic sTAge had prognostic significance, P<0. 10. The results of multivaRIAte analysis with COx proportional hazards regression model for 12 factors showed that chemical treatment, thorectomy exploration, blood meTAsTAsis, primary sites, radiotherapy, sex and age had prognostic significance. At the same time we first report that chemical treatment and thorectomy exploration shorten the survival time. This resuil is helpful for clinical doctors to select appropRIAte treatment regimen.
