Measurement and Evaluation of Forest and Transporting Workers Exposed to Whole Body Vihration
-
Abstract
To find out the current situation of occupational harm of Whole Body Vibration (WBV) on forest workers, an advanced technique of vibration test was utilized to investigate WBV exposure levels experienced by forestlogging and transporting professional drivers. Triaxial vibation measurements were made on three types of vehicles. It was determined that Z. axis of all vehicles had vibration levels higher than 4hrs.Exposure Limit recommended by ISO 2631. Y axis of transporting trucks had vibration levels higher than 8hrs. Fatigue-decreased proficiency boundary.
