Application of IgM Capturing ELISA with Recombinant Antigen in Serodiagnosis of Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome

For studying the value of IgM capturing ELISA with recombinant antigen to the serodiagnosis of HFRS The ELISA was established with antigen expressed from 76118 strain S genome segment in E.coli.combining with polyclonal Ab against human tl chain and HRP-labeled monoclonal Ab against Hantavirus.The method was used to detect 610 sera of suspected HFRS pstients and the results were compared to that of Indirect Fluorescent As-syay.The coincidences of ELISA with IFAwere94.10% for positive sera 92 83% for negative and 93.61% for general the sensitivities of the ELISA were apparently higher than that of the IFA for the patients that within 5 days ill length.equal for that with 6 to 30 days ill length,and lower for that with 1month or longer ill length; the month distribution of positive found was ac-cod with the infection rule.This IgM capturing ELISA in much accurate to diagnose HFRS in early stage.
