Study on the Host Animal and Transmission vector of SFG in Nighua County Fujian Province of China

In order to find out the host and transmission vector of Spotted Fever group Rickketts iosis(SFG)in Ninghua county. Fujian Province of China,from 1994 ~ 1997,the investigation and study have been carried out in endemic areas,indetification 13 s pecies of Ixodioideas,they are obtained from the animals,include rattus and wild boar,hare,muntiacus reevesi Ogilby. Then isolated SFGR from the Ixodioideas,using embryonated hens eggs couldbe and mCF,PcR/ RFLP etc. Result the SFGR infection rate of host an-imals is 12.50%,9.47 %,58.33 %,include muntiacas reevesi Ogilby,wild rattes and wild boar,Isolated SFG rickettsia from Haemaphysalis yeni,it is first report in the world. Conclusion it's make farther confirm that there may be endemic areas of North Asia Ferer SFG in Fujian of China from host animal transmisson Vector and aetiology.
