Abstract
Objective To investigate the needs for training among health emergency managers in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and to provide basis for developing training programs for health emergency managers. Methods Totally 265 health emergency managers in Guangxi were conveniently selected and surveyed with a questionnaire about the objective,content,time,form,method,and effect assessment of training. Results For the participants,98. 1% reported the need for training in basic theory and konwledge of health emergency. The ratios of the participants requiring case analysis,desktop deduction,and special lecture were 95. 4%,92. 3%,and 83. 3%,respectively. The top-three training programe required by the participants were short-term training( 76. 6%),domestic field study( 51. 9%),and symposium or lecture( 37. 9%). The most required trainers of the participants was experts( 98. 5%),and the most required examination method and was simulation exercise( 46. 0%). Conclusion Training program for health emergeney management should be planned according to the requirements,so as the training process for the improvements in capability of health emergency management.
