Abstract: Objective To investigate the prevalence of chronic kidney disease(CKD)and its risk factors among Kunming raiwlay workers.Methods With stratified cluster sampling,1 204 Kunming raiwlay workers were randomly selected and investigated for indicators and risk factors of CKD.Results Eligible data of 1103 subjects were enrolled in the study.After adjusmtent for age and gender,the prevalence of albuminuria was 6.94%,hematuria 7.56%,and reduced eGFR 1.83%.The prevalence of CKD in the population was 14.61%,and the awareness rate of CDK was 7.14%.Hypertension,diabetes,hyperuricemia,hyperlip idemia,age,and gender were independent risk factors for albuminuria;hypertension,hype ruricemia,gende,rand age were independent risk factors for reduced renal function;gender was an independent risk factors for hematuria.Conclusion The prevalence of CKD was 14.61%,and the awareness rate of CDK was 7.14% among Kunming railway workers.The disease spectrum and risk factors of CKD are smiilar to those of populations in other majorcities in China and developed countries.
