Abstract: Objective To understand the status of self rated health among different urban populations in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.Methods With multi-stage stratified sampling,6 differen to ccupational populations,including civil setvant,scientific and technical personnel,administra tive staff,teacher,doctor,and physical worker aged 18-60 years were assessed by Self rated Health Measurement Scale Version 1.0(SRHMS V 1.0).Results The SRHMS score of all respond entsw as 69.86±11.74.The scores of physical health,mental health,and social health subscale were 74.14±12.45,64.15±15.65,and 70.74±14.48,respectively.There was no-significant difference in the scores of physical health,mental health,and social health between male and female.The score of physical health of the respondents atage of 50-60 years was lower than that of other age groups(P<0.05)and the scores of mental health,social health of respondents atage of 18-29 years was lower than that of other age groups(P<0.05).Among the 6 occupational groups,the admin istrative staff had the highest total score(72.52±11.39)and the physical workers had the lowest total score(63.702±10.55)with a significant difference(F=268.14,P<0.05).Conclusion There are differences in self rated health status among difficent occupational populations in Ningxi Hui Automous Region.
