硒预防肿瘤及机制研究进展

Advances in researches on antitumor effect of selenium and its mechanism

  • 摘要: 硒是人体必需微量元素,具有抗肿瘤、抗氧化、解毒、免疫调节等多种功能。硒与肿瘤的发生密切相关,缺硒导致结直肠癌、前列腺癌、肺癌、食管癌、肝癌等发生率明显增加。硒在人体内与蛋白结合发挥作用,其基因多态性与肿瘤的发生和发展相关,可作为肿瘤的分子分型及预后的生物标志物。含硒化合物具有抑制肿瘤增殖、增强抗肿瘤药物药效的作用。本文针对硒预防肿瘤及其机制研究进展进行综述,旨在揭示精准补硒对改善健康和预防肿瘤的重要意义。

     

    Abstract: Selenium is an essential trace element for human health and has a variety of functions, such as antitumor effect, anti-oxidation, detoxification, and immune regulation. Selenium is closely related to tumorigenesis and selenium deficiency could lead to increased morbidities of various cancer, including colorectal, prostate, lung, esophageal cancers and hepatocelluar carcinoma. Selenium in the human body is incorporated into selenoproteins for its functioning and the polymorphism of selenoprotein genes is associated with tumor development. Selenoproteins can be used as biomarkers for molecular typing and the prognosis of tumor. Selenium-containing compounds can inhibit tumor growth, and enhance the efficacy of antitumor drugs. This paper aims to review the progress in researches on antitumor effect of selenium and its mechanism and to address the importance of selenium supplementation for improving health and preventing tumors.
