Abstract: ObjectiveTo detect the influence of edible oil from railway dining car to drosophila melanogaster's longevity by drosophila longevity test.MethodsCollecting and grouping the drosophilas that hatched in 8 hours and did not copulated yet,each concentration group had 200 drosophilas,both female and male had 8 concentration groups,registered the survival number of drosophila per 2 days and replaced the culture medium per 4 days till all the drosophilas died.ResultsNo matter half life-span、mean line-span or maximal mean life-span,the significance of difference between experiment groups and control group were marked(P<0.01).ConclusionThe edible oil had obvious effect of shortening the drosophila melanogaster's longevity.
