Abstract:
Objective To study the interaction between hydroquionoes and deoxgribonucleic acid in pH 7.42 sodium phosphate buffer solution.
Methods Ultraviole-tvisble spectrophotometry, fluorescence spectrophotometry, cylic voltammetry, hybridization and quantum chemistry were used.
Results Peaks and the intension of absorption and fluorescence spectra changed obviously in hybridization, the oxidated peak of cyclic voltammetry shifted to postivie, the quantum chemistry theoretical calculation indicated that the hydroquinone closed to the phosphate groups and base groups in DNA.
Conclusion The electrostatic attraction and П-П banding between hydroquinones and deoxgribonucleic acid are the major modes for the interaction in hybridization.
