微波辐照对大鼠学习记忆行为和海马LTP影响

Effects of microwave irradiation on learning and memory behaviour and LTP induction of hippocampal slices in rats

  • 摘要: 目的 研究微波辐照后学习记忆功能与长时程增强(LTP)改变的规律。方法 采用功率密度为65mW/cm2的微波全身一次辐照大鼠20 min,在辐照后不同时相点观察大鼠学习记忆行为的改变(穿梭箱试验和Morris水迷宫试验)和海马离体脑片LTP的诱导变化。结果 微波辐照可导致大鼠肛温升高4.1℃,比吸收率(SAR)为12.0 W/kg。微波辐照后0,24 h,大鼠主动回避反应(AAR)明显低于辐照前(P<0.05)。微波辐照后0 h和3 h,大鼠寻找平台的潜伏期明显增加(P均<0.05);空间搜索试验中辐照组大鼠在目标区域的游泳时间占整个游泳时间的百分比和跨跃平台次数均显著低于对照组大鼠(P均<0.01)。微波辐照后0,12,24 h,3 d,大鼠海马脑片LTP的诱导明显减弱(0 h,P<0.01;12,24 h,3 d,P<0.05)。结论 在本实验条件下,微波辐照可导致大鼠空间学习记忆能力受损,海马脑区LTP的诱导障碍是大鼠学习记忆功能损害的细胞电生理学基础。

     

    Abstract: Objective To elucidate the effects of micr owave irradiation on learning and memory function.Methods At different timepoints after microwave exposure of 65mW/cm2 for 20min,learning and memory ability was evaluated with shuttle box test and Morris.water maze test,long-term potentiation(LTP)was detected in hippocampal slices in rats.Results After microwave exposure,the anus temperature increased more than 4℃,and average whole body SAR(specific absor ption rate)was 12.0 W/kg.At timepoints of 0 and 24 h after microwave irradiation,active avoidance response(AAR)decreased obviously than those before microwave irradiation(P<0.05).The latency of place,navigation was significantly increased at timepoints of 0 and 3 h after microwave irradiation(P<0.05),the times through platform and the time in target area were obviously decreased in spatial probetest in rats exposed to microwave compared with those in control rats(P<0.01).Significant obviously impaired induction of LTP in hippocampal slices were observed at timepoints of 0,12,24 h and 3 d after microwave irradiation(P<0.05).Conclusion Under the condition of this paper,microwave irradiation can result in learning and memory deficits in rats.Impaired induction of LTP in hippocampal slices is the electrophysiological basis of learning and memory deficits induced by microwave irradiation.
